DCF Research

Policy

Editorial policy

Every claim about a firm on DCF Research should be checkable by a reader. This page explains where facts come from, how money could and could not affect what you see, how we use AI tools, and how to get an error fixed.

Can firms pay for a better ranking?

No. The DCF Evidence Score is computed only from public evidence, and the ranking is the score order. DCF Research may sell Featured placements: a highlighted slot that is always labeled "Featured". A featured placement does not change a firm's score, rank, profile facts, or editorial text, and it does not add a firm to a ranking it does not qualify for. No firm pays for placement today. DCF Research receives no referral fees or commissions from firms.

Where do the facts come from?

  • Official partner directories (Snowflake, Databricks) for partner status and tiers, checked on a recorded date.
  • Each firm's own website for services, case studies, industry practices, headquarters, and headcount.
  • AWS, Microsoft, and Google Cloud partner pages, or the firm's announcements, for cloud partnerships.
  • Public datasets such as GSA CALC+ for rates, described with their limits.

We do not use other "top firms" listicles as sources. Outcomes in case studies are labeled as firm-reported because we have not audited them. Information a firm sends us is used only if it links to a public source.

How does DCF Research use AI tools?

We use AI tools to help collect public pages and draft text. Published facts must trace to the source linked next to them, and pages are edited by Peter Korpak before publication. When we cannot source a number, we remove it or show it as a labeled estimate with its arithmetic.

How are errors corrected?

Email hello@dataconsultingfirms.com with the page and a link to a public source. We fix verified errors, re-score the firm if the evidence changes, and record material changes in the methodology changelog.

How often is the directory updated?

Partner directories and firm pages are re-checked at least quarterly. Each profile shows the date its evidence was last checked. Guides show their published and last-updated dates; we change those dates only when the content changes substantively.
